David Higginbotham is a writer and editor who grew up in the woods. David is a former backcountry guide in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Boundary Waters Canoe Area. After teaching as a professor for two decades, and working as a Scoutmaster for one, he chose a more reclusive path and returned to the wild.
